National Hardware is proud to be a partner of Military Makeover, a television series dedicated to honoring deserving veteran families through meaningful home renovations.

Meet Eric Gilbertson, Savage, Minnesota-based Senior National Account Manager. Eric has been with us for 21 years, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, who were also sales representatives for National Hardware.

Meet Dawn Owen, Key Account Manager, out of Rock Falls, Illinois. She’s been with National Hardware for over 23 years.

To celebrate women this month, we’re highlighting none other than Mary Bittorf. Mary Bittorf started with National Manufacturing in 1905. She was one of the very first women to work in the workplace, let alone a factory, making National Manufacturing one of the first places to hire women in the United States. Mary ran the women’s department for nearly six decades. She paved the way for many of our women leaders in hardware today.

In honor of our 120th anniversary, we want to take a moment to highlight some of our hardware heroes, employees of National Hardware. Meet Dave Sanders, National Account Manager, who has been with National for 37 years and counting.

Our first Hardware Hero is Mario Vivarelli, current Territory Account Manager, out of Sterling, Illinois. He is our most seasoned hero with 43 years in the business.

National Hardware partner, Janet of Shabyfufu, is queen of all things Scandi-style. This modern wood Christmas tree can be made in any size and to coordinate with a variety of decorating styles.

Using floral wire and cup hooks by National Hardware, Janet of Shabyfufu was able to create a beautiful, large wreath to proudly display all season long.

National Hardware partner, Janet, of Shabyfufu blog, was tired of looking at her dark and dreary closet space. The rest of her master was light, bright and modern while her closet was tucked away into the dark corner of her master bath. She not only created a functional space but added lots of bright light and a modern touch to her master suite.

Adding double barn doors with our new Designer barn door kits had the perfect aesthetic and solution to a living space problem.
